Recent Amendments to the County Solid Waste Management Plan

Through "Project Medicine Drop", the Lower Township Police Department has installed a prescription drug box for the acceptance, free of charge, of medications from New Jersey residents.  The public is invited to come in and use this box 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to disposal of their unused and expired prescription medications.  Alternately, the NJDEP requirements for disposing of medicine in the trash are provided in the link below.
